Grabbing A Lifeline – Where To Start

Posted on: 17 February 2021 by Jane Saunders

There is no doubt about it, everyone experiences pain fear and stress in life.  The question is what can you do about it?

At the beginning of 2016 I decided to grab a LifeLine.  The journey that unfolded over that year was one of bridging the gap between my conscious mind and subconscious mind and bringing awareness into my life.  Day by day connecting and processing my stuck emotions from short term memory into long term memory.  It’s what I do as a daily practice now.

Where to start?

The first step is to do “The Connection”, which is actually Step 1 of the LifeLine Technique®.  This brings you into the present moment.  Which basically means that you are not thinking about what you just did or what you may have to do. You are clear and focussed.  It’s a bit like charging your phone to 100% or tuning an instrument so it is ready to be played.  It makes you become razor sharp.

What I have found is that even just doing this first step bring clarity in the moment, great to do before important meetings, interviews, exams, on waking and before sleeping.  Sometimes when I have an important decision to make, even just doing The Connection and tuning in to my heart helps me to come to a clear answer of what my next best step is.
